Departed-Promo 2013 (Self-Released) 

After their excellent debut album ''Oblation of Heaven Suffering'', Departed are back with their ''Promo 2013'' including two songs and are faithful to their essence of Death Metal with a marked influence on the Brutal Death Metal! This Indonesian band is formed of Coollate on Guitars, Mahfudz on Bass Nico Demos on Vocals and Avaness on Drums. The quartet give us, once again, a flawless fucking job at the execution of riffs that weave through the roots of Death Fucking Metal with maybe some riffs a bit less enjoying, but this is part of this fucking shit! The drums is very fucking good but sometimes may seem to lack a bit of speed but differentiates this shit from many others! The Death Metal vox are damn perfect and Mahfudz on the bass made a great job! The complete production is fucking excellent but I think it lacks a bit of sick power but we're talking about a promo and it's still an excellent fucking quality! Again, Departed not reinvented the wheel, but their authentic Death Metal and brutality omnipresent once again gives us a real fucking eargasm with this disc! Unfortunately this CD is now sold out but Departed currently preparing their second release, which If Im not wrong, will be available on Pathologically Explicit Recordings! I think everyone knows these guys and their great fucking work, but for those who have no idea what this fucking band, now go get their first album before to be departed! True Fucking Great Shit! 9/10
