Exsanguinate-Disintegration Through Ritualistic Torture (Self-Released)
Out from the catacombs of Quebec, Exsanguinate shit us their first fucking album ''Disintegration Through Ritualistic Torture''! A true musickal carnage in Brutal Death Fucking Metal style but rather influenced by the great fucking wave of the Brutal Death Metal with influences to the Old School Death Metal! The album is greatly successful to make us feel the great Old BDM by its ''bad sound'' that makes us remember the old sickness times! The guitar riffs of Pietro and Jean-Francois are completely fucking insane, Brian's guttural vocals at its best with a good job of Fred on drums but maybe lack a bit of speed! This record is composed, as I said earlier, a few more influenced Old School Death Metal parts, others to the Old School Brutal Death Fucking Metal and you can even discern, for my part, some subtleties of Black Metal and Doom Death Metal, but this is not what is represented mainly coz the priority of this fucking shit is pure and true death fucking brutality in its greatest form! To return to the sound of the album, which I think is the only negative point of this album, is bad and a little low in power, the guitars sound is ok but lacks fucking strength and the sound of drums is not really good either! It may seem a very fucking big negative point but in this case, its rather a quality to this CD that pay tribute to the Old Brutal Death Fucking Metal in all its fucking forms, to its real nature and being composed in the spirit of the old fucking times! An album that obviously I recommended to all real fucking fans of the sickness coz its an unique album in modern times and a fucking sick shit! 9/10
